Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released a statement about tonight’s attack on Israel.

The IRGC said Israeli facilities “involved in the production of fighter jet fuel and energy supply centres” were targeted tonight.

In the statement, the IRGC said that Iran’s attack will “intensify” if Israeli attacks continue.

Elsewhere in the statement, the IRGC claimed that Iran has “tracked and destroyed three cruise missiles, 10 drones, and dozens of hostile micro-UAVs” in areas of Iran that were attacked.

“Stuck” – that’s how most people I’ve spoken to describe life right now in Iran.

“I had to drive far from home to find a petrol station, because there were heavy queues in front of each,” one Tehran resident tells me today.

Some people in the city are even moving out, “away from where any official lives”.

Someone who re the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s says: “Back then, sirens warned everyone to go somewhere safe or turn off house lights. It seems like they [the officials] don’t care about our lives now.”

But younger people, born after the war, don’t know what it was like.

The internet is becoming even more unstable than yesterday, so it’s very hard to keep in touch with people I know inside the country.

Many of us living outside the country are sending messages to loved ones, hoping for a reply.

Videos published by Iranians on social media and authenticated by BBC show a huge fire at an oil depot northwest of the capital Tehran.

One video, confirmed by BBC , shows two residents watching a huge fire at the Shahran oil depot, filmed from Simon Bolivar Street in northwest Tehran.

Another clip, also filmed from Simon Bolivar Street, shows an oil tanker burning, with a man filming confirm the time and location of the video.

A report from the Mehr news agency also filmed a report from the site, confirming that it appeared to have been targeted.

Iran’s oil ministry has said that the situation is “under control”, but Iranian media have asked people to “stay away” from the depot.

Meanwhile, one video shared online and verified by the BBC shows a fire burning near the Haifa oil refinery following tonight’s salvo of missiles fired from Iran.

Although the clip is filmed from distance, we can spot the oil refinery by matching known landmarks surrounding it and finding the precise location from which it was filmed.

BBC is continuing to examine more videos of the aftermath of tonight’s attacks by both countries.

We're now hearing more details about Israel's attacks on Tehran.

The Tasnim News Agency, a media outlet d with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, says an Israeli strike targeted the country's defence ministry in Tehran.

One of the headquarters office buildings was slightly damaged in the attack which took place in the Nobaniad area, it reports.

It adds that the ministry's Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research was also hit in a separate attack.

In the last two hours, we've seen missile strikes from Iran towards Israel, and also Israeli strikes at Iran.

Here are the latest key developments:

• Israeli media reported Iran's missile launches at about 23:05 local time (21:05 BST)
• Iranian state TV claimed 100 missiles were launched, mainly targeting Tel Aviv and Haifa
• At 23:11 local time, Israel announced that while intercepting missiles, they were also attacking military targets in Tehran
• The Shahran oil depot and a fuel tank in Tehran have been hit, but an official says the situation is "under control"
• Israel's emergency service says a woman in her 20s has been killed in Western Galilee, and seven injured people have been taken to hospital

Israel’s emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) says a woman in her 20s has been killed following the Iranian strikes.

The woman, who was pulled from the rubble, was in the two-storey house in Western Galilee we mentioned earlier.

Seven people who were injured are being taken to hospital, MDA adds.

Haifa municipality says there were no rocket hits in Haifa and no casualties are known.

As we mentioned earlier, Iranian state TV reported the port city was one of the top targets of tonight's strikes.

A few interceptor fragments were found in a small number of locations, the statement says.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has chaired a meeting with his security cabinet.

This comes as Israel faces renewed missile fire from Iran.

The BBC can confirm that the Shahran oil depot in Tehran has been hit by Israel.

Iran's oil ministry also says Israeli strikes have targeted the depot and a fuel tank in southern Tehran.

However, they add that the fuel levels at these two depots are not high and the situation is under control.

Tehran’s fire department had previously warned that the Shahran oil depot was high-risk because it is located too close to where people live in the city.

Israel’s emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) says about 14 people have been injured at a two-storey house in the Western Galilee.

One person is in critical condition, while the others have different levels of injury, the service says.

Israel Police say they've received reports of a fallen explosive device in a community in the Northern District.

Initial reports indicated that there are several casualties and damage at the scene, the statement says.

Police are currently working to isolate the crash site.

Israel’s Home Front Command says people across the country can now leave protected spaces, but should stay nearby.

The public is still being asked to follow any further instructions.

Israel's Fire and Rescue says they've responded to several incidents in the coastal and northern areas of the country, including debris falling, damage to residential buildings, and fires in open spaces.

Fire crews are on their way, the unit says.

Israel's emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) has just released a statement.

Its spokeswoman says: "Following the recent alarms, at this stage no calls have been received at MDA's 101 hotline about casualties. MDA teams went out to search 2 locations where reports were received."

Iran’s state TV just announced that the country has started the second wave of its True Promise Operation Three on Israel tonight.

The state TV said that this time the attack is a combination of drones and "more than 100" missiles, with Haifa and Tel Aviv being the main target tonight.

“The attack will disrupt the sleep of residents”, the state TV said.

Sirens have also been heard in Amman, capital of Jordan. Jordan has now closed its airspace.

Sirens are sounding in northern Israel.

Israeli media say explosions have been heard in the Haifa and Kiryat areas. It's not yet clear if missiles have hit the ground or been intercepted.
