A match-up nightmare with great size and even better hands, Warren was used creatively at Penn State and lined up in a variety of areas, with that versatility a huge asset in a tight end in the NFL.
Warren can win a tough contested catch but also take a quick, short ball and evade tacklers with a speed not often seen in such a big athlete – and that all leads into his big strength, getting yards after the catch.
Combining toughness with that size and speed, Warren could be a YAC monster in the NFL and perform along the lines of a George Kittle.
Tight end - Penn State
The other stud tight end in the first round goes in 14th, making that the first time ever two tight ends have been drafted in the top half of the first round in the draft.

However, too often you were left wanting more. That said, Miami badly needed to find help for their interior defensive line.
Defensive tackle - Michigan
Miami goes for an upgrade on the defensive line with big 300-pounder Kenneth Grant heading to the Dolphins with pick 13.
Grant has good movement for a big guy who is a run stuffer but also can bring pressure up the middle - something that the Philadelphia Eagles built a Super Bowl winning defence on last year.

Offensive lineman - Alabama
Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have been unusually quiet in the build-up and instead of making a big flashy pick they;ve gone for an offensive lineman - as they usually do.
Jones looks happy enough in the Dallas war room after picking a lineman that went 371 blocks without giving up a sack.

The 49ers used to have a loaded defensive line and they bullied opponents. Their fearsome front four turned into a one-man Nick Bosa show.
Mykel Williams has incredible upside but he was inconsistent and injured at Georgia and never really delivered on his potential in college.
Edge - Georgia
Nick Bosa gets a partner in crime with Mykel Williams heading to San Francisco as part of an important draft for the Niners having lost a lot of players in the off season so far.
He's an explosive edge rusher who will a traditionally fearsome defensive unit that lost some big players in free agency.
Offensive lineman - Texas

He remained an integral part of the Longhorns' offensive line and after his third and final college season he won the annual award for best lineman.
Having gained so much experience at Texas, the 6ft 5in protector had been earmarked as a potential NFL starter coming into the draft.

In fact, Cam Ward is the only quarterback to have been selected so far, but how far will Sanders fall?
At least he has been spared the humbling Aaron Rodgers suffered when he was drafted with the 24th pick in 2005.
Sanders has not been invited to the draft so won't have to endure constant TV shots of him sat waiting in the green room.

Colston Loveland is one of the best players in the draft. He's an ideal fit in Ben Johnson's offense and will play the same role as Sam LaPorta in Detroit. He's a dynamic -catching tight end who can be a difference maker.
Tight end - Michigan
Image source, Getty ImagesLike a lot of modern-day tight ends, Loveland operates more like a big wide receiver, a very big receiver in fact at six-foot-six but with great speed and an upper body strength that can protect the football.
He made 12 starts in 2023 when the Wolverines won the National Championship, and last year set a Michigan single-season tight end record with 56 catches, 582 yards and five touchdowns.
His blocking will need work, but he looks like he could be a massive possession receiver asset with also that red zone threat that NFL teams crave.

McMillan is a Mike Evans-esque receiver who can dominate cornerbacks and reel in high balls.
He also played volleyball and basketball and credits his time as a volleyball player for helping him reach the NFL.
"I think it's a big reason why I'm efficient at what I do as far as jump balls, 50/50 balls, going up to get it. Volleyball plays a huge role in that, for sure,” he told ESPN.
"I tell everybody - and I probably shouldn't say it - that volleyball is my favorite sport. I probably had the most fun playing it."
Tight end - Michigan
Plenty of boos from Packers fans as their big rivals Chicago announce their first round pick - which is the first tight end to go off the board in Colston Loveland
The Bears haven't had a winning record since 2018 but their offence is now stacked with Loveland ing Caleb Williams and his array of receiving weapons.

The Saints can move last year's first round pick Taliese Fuaga back to his natural home at right tackle and plug Kelvin Banks Jr on the left side. He's good in space and when he gets on the move but there were questions about his balance on .
Pick number 10
The Chicago Bears had two of the first nine picks last year, taking Caleb Williams with the first then Rome Odunze, so quarterback and wide receiver aren't a concern for new head coach Ben Johnson.
The Bears have plenty of other needs, with none a major issue, so they could move in a number of ways with this one.
Offensive tackle - Texas
New head coach Kellen Moore will not have Shedeur Sanders but instead has one of the top offensive linemen left on the board as he starts his rebuild in New Orleans.
The Texas Longhorn Banks will help protect whoever ends up lining up at quarterback for the Saints next season, which remains far from clear.
Pick number nine
With Derek Carr struggling with a shoulder injury, the New Orleans Saints were linked with a quarterback move, in particular Shedeur Sanders.
That chatter has calmed down, though, and the roster new head coach Kellen Moore has inherited needs a lot of work on both sides of the ball so this is anyone's guess.

Tetairoa McMillan divided opinion among draft experts. He isn't fast or explosive but he can contort his body to make difficult high-pointed grabs and his ball-tracking is excellent.
Quarterback Bryce Young will like the pick but that Carolina defense needed some love.
